About ALCLAD
Precision-built interiors and shopfittings
ALCLAD’s story began over 50 years ago with the simple belief that true quality is built, not claimed.
From a small workshop in Johannesburg, our founders set out to create interiors that would stand the test of time. Their hands shaped the first pieces of shopfitting that would one day grow into a legacy of craftsmanship trusted by leading brands across South Africa and beyond.
Today, our teams, technology, and experience all work together under one roof, turning complexity into coordination.
Heritage & Evolution
From Workshop Roots to Continental Reach
Founded in 1968, ALCLAD grew from an ethos of high-quality craftsmanship and undeniable reliability. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, we earned our reputation as a trusted name in South African shopfitting, delivering projects for many of the country’s most recognised retailers.
By the early 2000s, ALCLAD was leading national rollouts, combining hands-on expertise with large-scale manufacturing capability. As materials, methods, and markets evolved, so did we. By embracing automation, precision engineering, and sustainable practices, ALCLAD remained at the forefront of our industry.
Today, from our 13,000m² facility in Johannesburg, our teams deliver interiors and shopfitting projects across South Africa and into the wider African continent. Always built with the same care and attention that defined our beginnings.
